Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy

 

We hope that you are pleased with the products you received from us, but if you do need to return anything we offer the following options to you:
 

If your product is unwanted or you’ve changed your mind

We are happy to offer you a refund or an exchange if the product you are returning is in a fully resalable condition i.e. unopened and unused, and the return is made within 28 days. In this case you can either:

Please remember to include the following information: name, email address, order number, reason for returns, additional information, expected outcome being a refund or exchange and attach images of the product. .We are unable to process your refund or exchange until we receive the product back. We strongly advise that you obtain a proof of postage receipt when sending your item back to us. Please ensure that all items being returned are complete, with original packaging, and are securely sent.Please note: If the product is returned, in a condition which is not fully resalable or the packaging is damaged, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange on the item. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

If your product is faulty

We will always do our best to ensure that your product arrives correctly and in perfect condition. Sometimes, however, faulty or damaged goods do occur and we want to be able to resolve them for you as quickly as possible. In this case you can either:

Please remember to include the following information if you email: name, email address, order number, reason for returns, additional information, expected outcome being a refund or exchange and attach images of the product. We are unable to process your refund, exchange or replacement until we receive the product back. We strongly advise that you obtain a proof of postage receipt when sending your item back to us. Please ensure that all items being returned are complete, with original packaging, and are securely sent.

 

 

If you have been sent the wrong product

We will always do our best to ensure that you receive the product you have ordered. Sometimes, however, mistakes do happen and we want to be able to resolve them for you as quickly as possible. In this case you can either:

How Refunds, Exchanges & Returns are Paid

 

When the item is returned to Customer Services: Refunds will be paid onto the same credit or debit card from which payment was taken for items returned to us. The refund value will be for the price paid when the order was placed. Refunds will only be processed once the item is received back.
 

How Exchanges are Processed

When the item is returned to Customer Services: Where an exchange is required for an item different to the item originally ordered, we will refund the value of the returned items and you can then place a new order for the exchanged items. Please note we will have to take your payment details again to process the exchange. Exchanges will only be processed once the item is received back.
 

Your responsibility and our liability

Whilst you are deciding whether to retain your purchase, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of our goods and they remain your responsibility until they arrive safe and sound at attarperfumes.

We reserve the right to inspect all goods that are returned to us. We do not accept liability for any goods that do not reach our warehouse nor can we accept liability for any goods that may be returned to us by mistake. It is therefore advised that any goods you may wish to return are done so via a recorded delivery service and retain the proof of postage. In the event that substantial damage has been caused to the product, we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange.

Where goods are returned damaged or not in their original packaging, we reserve the right to refund you in full, less any deductions due by way of compensation for any damage that may have been caused. In the event that substantial damage has been caused then we reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange.

Once we have received the product(s) and if appropriate, any packaging, a refund will be credited to the correct payment within 14 days. Please note this usually takes between 3 – 5 days but may take up to 14 days.

 

Refunding Delivery Charges

When you make a purchase online you have up to 28 days to cancel your contract and return your unwanted goods to us by post or courier. You will be entitled to refund on items purchased, excluding the delivery charges, you will be responsible for the cost of returning your goods.

Please note that we are unable to provide a refund of the delivery charges when you are only cancelling part of that order.

If you receive your goods in such a state that they are not functioning properly or order errors, you may contact us within 7 days of receiving your goods to arrange for an exchange, replacement or refund. Please contact our Customer Service Team on: returns@attarperfumes.co.uk  please quote your: name, email address, order number, product code and reason for return.  Once a return is agreed, a returns code will be provide.  When posting items back to us please make sure to request a proof of postage receipt from the post office.  As we cannot take responsibility if the item is lost without a proof of postage receipt.

Please quote your order number and returns code when sending item back. once we have received the product(s). The products are inspected and where applicable a refund of cost of delivery charges will be provided or credit note.  Please allow 1-3 days for product inspection. A refund will be credited to the correct payment within 14 days. Please note this usually takes between 3 – 5 days but may take up to 14 days.

Attarperfumes will not issue refunds for any items lost or stolen in transit to us.

Please note, slight damage to the outside box can happen during shipment and would not be regarded as product damage.

Most products are inspected before dispatched for damages and defects.
 

Your Statutory Rights

Our refund policy does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty or damaged goods.
